Professional Awards

David Ewles's work has been on show at the Photographer's Gallery in London
and he has won several British Institute of Professional Photographers
Gold Awards some of which are shown here.

He was awarded an Arts Council grant to photograph landscape and his work has appeared in many publications throughout his career. His prize winning panorama of Leith, shown below, was chosen from thousands of entries in a world-wide competition run by Epson.

David graduated in Creative Photography from the London College of Printing in 1975 and became an Associate of the British Institute of Professional Photographers soon after. He has had exhibitions in Scotland and at the Selby Library in Sarasota, Florida,
called Different Worlds.

He is represented in Sarasota by Elizabeth Rice Inc. Fine Art, Main Street, Sarasota.
The Gallery contains works by Warhol, Miro and Picasso and specialises in
contemporary fine art.
